IR Training Requirements

Just a quick question regarding an Instrument Rating requirement:
In order to commence IR training (modular) does a 'Night Rating' have to be issued? I'm only 8 hours from completion of the IR course and testing in a few days. I completed the Night Rating training a few months ago and hopefully issue Night, CPL and IR collectively to save money. I’ve checked LASORS but require clarification:
"An applicant for a modular IR(A) course shall be the holder of a PPL(A) or a CPL(A), either licence to include the privileges to fly by night, issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1"
Much appreciated.

As long as you have done all the training for the night rating, have it signed off in your log book, and have the relevant paperwork it will not be an issue.
