FAA IR revalidation in Europe

Looking into my conversions of my FAA-ME/CPL/IR to JAR-FCL (I hold the JAR-ATPL theory) I read that my FAA-IR should be current and valid to do such a conversion and since I work in a day-VFR operation, i am not current anymore.

Not really willing to do the trip to the USA only for 6 approaches etc... does anybody know if I can do such a recurrent training in Europe ?

Thanks in advance for any good tips !

Have a look for a FAA Instructor and have him do your refresher and sign you off again. Depends on where you would like to do it.
