Trade Winds Flying School Fort Pierce, Florida.

Hi
Anybody been to this school? I am thinking of going there and doing my FAA PPL. I live in the UK and its so expensive here.

do more research, google flight schools in florida...you can find better schools with better equipments...
i chekd there website(old) they have 152 ...which y its so much cheaper...anyways good luck

have you looked at FIT (Florida Institute Of Technology) Aviation in Melbourne, they have new PA28 Warriors and PA 44 Seminoles with Glass cockpit. Seem to be nice facilities too.

Also they've had their fair share of immigration troubles, last I heard their students were asked to leave the country within 24 hours or face a ban from entering the US.

To confirm US immigration law :
You would need an M1 visa to train for a PPL.
You would also need TSA clearance.

yes your right i remember now...and there is a school that was closed because of illegal pilot training also ...i think its called skyblue aviation or blue sky aviation...

I've been training in Fort Pierce myself but at EFT, european flight training, on the ex-pan am academy site, as EFT moved there last month.

I've finished the PPL and I can only say good things about the school.
