Calling current CTC cadets
Hi guys,
I was wondering what the headset situation is in New Zealand? I hear that there are headsets for us to borrow but I am still quite keen to get my own so that it fits properly. Can someone please tell me which type of headsets are available during training and whether people tend to use those or get their own? I'm split between the DC 13.4 and the Bose but if no one else buys their own then I might not bother.
Thanks
Emma

Headsets are attached to each aircraft...you don't get your own. CP67 were the last CP to be provided with their own headsets I believe.
They have some Lightspeed ones (don't know the model) and some Pooley's headsets...fairly standard and nothing exciting.
People do buy their own, if I had the money, I would too.

you cant go wrong and it will last!
i had mine for just under 5 years. had a slight problem with a connector, sent them back to DC. they sent them back looking new!
should get another 5 years out of them
