Airways Flight Training
Further to my last thread in trying to decide where to carry out my CPL/Multi IR training in the next few months, I was initially researching Bristol Aviation and Aeros as potential FTO's.
Whilst still considering these schools as strong options for me, I have since received a number of strong recommendations for Airways Flight Training based in Exeter.
I notice that AFT tend not to advertise/promote themselves much, and so wasn't initially made aware of them. However, word of mouth has certainly drawn my attention, and I am now very interested in AFT as a potential training provider for me.
I have used the search function extensively and found some very useful threads about AFT over the past few years, all with very good feedback about the courses they provide and their instructors.
I have however struggled to find much in the way of recent information, from people who have attended the school within the last year or two.
In particular I would be interested to hear how past students have managed post training in finding employment.
Many FTO's list past student success/placement with airlines, but I haven't had much luck in finding any information in this area about AFT past students.
Any thoughts or information would be much appreciated.

I trained at AFT and cannot recommend them highly enough.
However like 90% of their students I was a military pilot at the time (take a look at the hundreds of photos on the wall must be every type of military aircraft included) they tend to specialise in getting military types the lisences they need to join civvy street. That said they will gladly take all types of students.
Because of the type of pilots they take they have a very very good pass rates.
Give them a phone they will fill you in on all the in's and out's of their operation.
