which one is better, Aussy or NZ??
dear all,
what I'm going to ask is some of your advise.
Would please someone advise me about, which flying school should I have to take, in Australia or in New Zealand, both of them were well known as a perfect place for flight training!!! But would please someone let me know which one is the best according to your opinion..
As an additional, I know 1 place named BINI Flight Training in Mentone, Victoria, Australia, do they accept international students??
does somebody know much about them, coz seem that I interested to take my training there...

Where are you from?
I would recommend Australia. New Zealand's size doesn't allow for much interesting flying, all you have is two options: Will I fly with New Zealand out the left window, or out the right window (it's tiny).
Australia has such a vast about of land to fly around, and thousands of airports and strips, and a wider variety of weather.
Bini's in Melbourne is a good school, depending on where you are from. I don't think they take international students, especially ab initio (hense the name "Advanced Flight Training". They specialise in CPL and MECIR.
There are a variety of different schools that cater for different nationalities. So, where are you from?

may I have your recommend about where should I have to go in aussy and would you please give me the website address of it??

Don't you think your questions is a bit redundant? There aren't many people in the world that have trained in both Australia and New Zealand so gaining an unbiased answer is going to be difficult.
They are both excellent countries offering a wealth of flying; why not sit down and do the pros and cons of both countries that way you can make an educated decision based on the facts rather than the opinions.

adhoc, this is my 2 cents worth.
I think the general view is that Aus has more stable weather than NZ and there are more options for cross-country navigational flight routes during your training. Aus is globally recognised as a leading flight training centre.
Bini is not CRICOS accredited, which means they cannot organise a student visa for you. However they do accept international students who will have to enter the country under tourist visas which last only 90 days (you would have to travel between Indo and Aus several times) and that is not ideal from your point of view. Besides, Bini is not geared towards ab initio training as they only have one or two full time instructors who are available on duty (others are part-time only). Bini's expertise is really multi-engine instrument ratings only.
If you are interested in training at Moorabbin Airport (Mentone, same place), I would suggest someone like Moorabbin Flying Services. It is CRICOS accredited (no problems with student visas), has many full-time instructors training ab initio, a large proportion of international students, and very new aircraft (just a few years old compared to most other schools around 30-40 years old). You will find them very professional in their approach to training and customer-oriented so no one feels left out.
