FAA proficiency check

Hi all,

does someone know if there is a difference in the FAR proficiency check for type rating if you are current compared to not being current any more?
I. e. more training required by FARs ? I'm rated on the CE500 series but not current since six month anymore, now I wonder how much I have to invest to become current again. Thanks for any hint !!!
