resitting atpl exams

hi all

i have completed my cpl/me/ir in south africa earlier this year. i was going to convert to jaa as soon as i arived back in the uk. i would be slightly worried now if i had a frozen atpl with the job market how it is and the fact that if you dont get your 1500hours in 5 years you would have to resit the 14 exams all over again.

is there anybody who is in this position or who is getting close to the 5 year mark without the hours.

cheers

There is no 5 year mark, you have 36 months from the date of the last exam to get your CPL/IR after this the exam credits are valid for 7 years after the last IR validity date.
