Advice Needed

To anyone out there that can help maybe give me some good advice.

I am late 30s and decided to change careers for one in aviation. I recently went to the USA and completed my ratings PPL/IRC/CAMEL multi with approx 280 hrs only 70 of that is Multi.

I was trying to decide where to go from here and was thinking of returning to the UK, I understand I would have to do JAA conversion first. 14 exams for the frozen ATPL.

My main questions are these what are the best programmes or way forward from here, I have heard about all these buy your right seat programmes which I don’t agree with.

Has anyone gone through the likes of CTC or any other type of programme that you could recommend also I have a concern that while I could pass the 14 exams without too much difficulty when you have not actually flown in Europe that may posses difficulties in itself as in not been able to relate to some things practicaly.

Anyway if anyone has any positive ideas of what the best route I could take from here I would appreciate the help.

Many thanks Tony
