ECL, how are you going to build heli hours in Aus without a work permit ?
Kestrel's management works very hard to keep their students happy and that's a good thing. In recent years they appear to have scaled back their fixed wing operations somewhat to concentrate on heli training. I can confirm their Frasca simulator is very good and Rex is a very experienced instructor. Mangalore airport is remote but on-site accomodation is a home away from home.

Thanks reverse, well the work permit is something to work on as this whole thing progresses, as I said.....I hope!!! if I'm lucky and things go my way!!! I'm just about to start working on the visa... far more for work permit! Thanks for the info though... I'll take that to mean Kestrel is a good choice . I'm really trying to do this the right way so I don't end up wasting time and money! I never thought it would be so hard just to even get to somewhere where I could start the course! It's alot of stress but I'm trying to keep my head up and not give up on something I really want! Thanks again!
