Time Limit to do the CPL??

I know that having done the ATPL exams you have 3 years to do add an IR else the exams lapse.

If a PPL holder with a MEP rating did the ATPL exams and then added an ME IR, is there any time limit in which they must do the CPL course in order to gain an ATPL (once other hours requirements are met) ??

Thanks!

The exams last 36 months in which time you have to do both the CPL and IR, then the exam credits are valid for 7 years after the last IR validity date.
