A320 PPC vs Currrent Medical

Hi,

I'm planning to renew my A320 validation before it falls off my UK license under the 5 year rule. I don't plan to use my UK license or my A320 rating for the foreseeable future and am currently running on a class 2 medical (I revalidate my class 1 every few years).

My question is, is can I do the PPC with only a class 2 medical, or do I even need a medical cert provided I don't want to excercise the privilages of the license.

I've been through LASORS but can't find a definitive answer
