Please clarify ME versus MEP

Guys,

I am trying to understand the difference between ME and MEP. I am in the process of converting my FAA ATP to a JAA ATP and will likely choose the standard way MEIR and CPL.

Thanks

ME = multi engine
MEP = multi engine piston

A good read would be JAR FCL 1 at Joint Aviation Authorities section E covers instrument ratings and ratings etc. Or if UK JAA licence LASORS 2008 | Personnel Licensing | Safety Regulation

A good read? That is funny. Necessary, Yes, but good...well maybe as a legal sleep aid.
