Its amazing how people dont read the posts correctly before slagging off schools.

KSM have a great time in Naples, its a beautiful place. I dont know which flight school you're going to, there are many there. I have been to both EAA and NAC, both are extremely good; EAA have new diamond aircraft with G1000 which is great, i'm going back to NAC next year because I prefer to fly the PA28 to the Diamonds.

If you need any info on the schools, just ask me and i'd love to help.

NAC do a JAA CPL, so if you're doing CPL there you may as well do the JAA one. KSM I must admit I am surprised you are planning any courses at NAC as that completely contradicts your PM you sent me a few days ago?! Especially considering your friend wants to sue richard for being ripped off by him!

My two cents though are NAC are a bunch of and definately should be avoided at any cost!

NAC is to be avoided at all costs.
Whoever does not heed this warning will live to regret it.
In Florida you can do JAA training at Ormond Beach or EFT at Ft Pierce.
If you are considering NAC for ATPL groundschool - their staff are very good but their question bank is right out of date and you will not arrive at the exams prepared.
Do Bristol - its the best.

Do some research here with the search function to read about NAC - dont take 1 or 2 peoples word for anything on this website.

Bristol Flying Centre is not i Naples,

And do my ATPL on distance hmmm. I have a bad feeling about that. iam 33y old and last schoolday was 1993 dont think iam disciplined to sit down and read this dry stuff without have a guy with a wip over my head from time to time.

But lets get back to my Q.

in the top of this

Just want so see how many is going to Naples end of this summer on flightschool.
no need to hear about some one who want to go over and play golf

KSM, what he means by this is using Bristol for their online data base of questions. If you go to Naples for ATPL ground school, then prior to going for your exams, use Bristol as a very useful tool to aid your studying.

Its a resource that you pay for online and I think almost every person currently doing their ground study will agree its very helpful.

Anyway best of luck. If you use NAC for anything, check all your receipts, and don't let them rip you off as once they have your money, you will never see any of it back - even if they have over charged you. When it comes to paying there, there always seems to be 'extra' costs that have sneaked onto the account.

steer clear

Hi just to reiterate the message of avoiding naples air center at all costs ,it should be avoided at all costs. Overcharging accounts and when challenged on it thretens to have your visa pulled which he has done and his other partners in crime behind the desk are not any better.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE GO AT YOUR OWN RISK AND JUST REMEMBER WHEN HE STRIKES YOU WERE WARNED.

KSM,

You dont want to but you have to... ?
Why do you need to sit exams at NAC? You ever heard of Bristol?
I see that you want to get JAA, but IR you will have to convert anyways.
Theres many schools in the US that are much better.
I still dont understand why everybody goes to FL? Is it beacuse they have "pretty" websites and advertise everywhere? or maybe beacuse people are so lazy to do a bit more research?
I have to say that you are very silly to go to NAC since your friend got ripped off over there... Theres a million better ways to do your flight tranning.

GBB iknow Iam not well in my head about NAC.

What i hear was that a PPL took 2 guys 3-4 month to do.
on of them is flying glider back home, not all the same but some of it must be.

I will not do my PPL and my IR on NAC but on Welcome to Naples, Florida!
After that I will Take my ATPL on the groundschool wher this guy who rips off studens dont have anything to do ther.

the rest you can get on a PM (personal stuff)
But as I said before iam open for suggestion

I can just tell everyone do not go to Naples Air Center except the Ground School. I have been at European American Aviation before and changed to NAC for the JAA ATP-Theorie and JAA CPL and all the horror stories from instructors I heard before about the flight department are true. Once you have enrolled they do simply not care you can't fly daily because they are to bussy so it's taking you ages to get finished. Airplanes are horrible old Pipers. I would just not go back to aircrafts not equipped with a glass cockpit if you have flown glass cockpit before not a good idea.

I can however recommend the residental ground school. The instructors at the Ground School are very helpfull and guide you in the right direction for the exams. Great instructor for Gen Nav.
