POH For PA28RT 201 Arrow

Hi All,

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but i'm hopefully going to start my CPL pretty soon now and i'm going to be doing it on a PA-28RT-201 Arrow III.

I found a POH on the net in PDF format for a PA-28RT-201 Arrow IV, are these two Aircraft really different from each other ? apart from one has a T-Tail will there be any real differences Performance wise ? I just wanted to start reading up on the A/C i will be flying but i can't get the manual for the Arrow III yet

Cheers guys

Performance is the same. The flying characteristics are very slightly different. I found the t-tail more difficult to fly, as I was used to the non T-tail version. Because the t-tail is out of the prop-wash, it has a nose heavy feel to it with a low power setting, and in the flare, requiring a bit a practice to get used to.

Turbo versions of the Arrow are very different in performance.

You can buy one from the Piper factory shop in Florida....or, probably, a UK Piper dealer (Bournemouth?).

US$20 something. Maybe £15 at the moment - plus postage.

Not bad if it saves you another £762 for a repeat test fee (which it will be after April 1st).
