ATPL Phases/Brush-ups/exams

ATPL Phases/Brush-ups/exams
Guys I need some help.
I'm now in a position to start ATPL Theory distance learning, but the problem is, I'm in the forces. It's difficult to get time off work as and when required for the two week revision courses and exam weeks, as our leave periods are dictated to us by the powers above. Although I do get the odd fortnight off, I'm reluctant to plunge into ATPLs in case I don't get two, three week lumps off in the next 18 months that magically coincide with brush-up courses and exam dates.
I've looked at doing IR then CPL exams, as the brush up modules and exam dates are shorter, and then ATPLs while flight instructing, but I would end up sitting over 25 exams in total spanning 5yrs!
I need to know if there are any flexible ground school providers that might allow you to sit one weeks revision at a time, with a few months between them, and then the corresponding exams a couple of months later.
All providers I've looked at, seem to rush you straight from a two week course into the exams the following Monday morning.
Has anyone had any similar problems to these?

Give Bristol GS a call, they did not even bat an eyelid when I booked exams about 7 months after the brush up. Not sure if they would let you split the brush up but I am sure they will be very helpful if you give them a call.

You could also try Atlantic in Coventry; they were very flexible when I wanted to split the course into three modules - I just turned up for the brush days for the subjects I was sitting.

I went for a brush up at CATS three months before I went for the exams so it could fit in with my holidays, there were no problems with that. There was also a guy on the course who was in the forces and took the subjects in an order that suited the exam days. i.e he studied all the subjects that had Tuesday exams first in order to only have to take a day off instead of whole week each time.
I think most schools will be flexible as long as you show you are committed and do all the required work in advance. Certainly I found CATS very helpful and flexible in this regard.

Thanks for the help chaps. I'll get on the case this week and let you know what they say. I'll try Oxford as well. Anyone else got any ideas or experiences, please post them.
