Hi,
decided to go to Oxford for my GS.
A couple of questions.
What is their policy if u fail one of the internal exams.
Can they stop you to seat the exams?
Also is it worth staying at the lodges they have?
Thank you

Hello Anitta, you would probably get a better response on ask.oxfordaviation.net • Index page

hey Annita,

I presume you're talking about the CBR groundschool course.

There is no problem in failing any of the school exams, whether it be a test 1 or 2 or a school final, I believe the integrated lot have to get 65% minimum or they are pulled out of the exam, but as a modular (no matter what the instructors may tell you) there is no such requirement.

Loads of my course got below 65% in multiple school finals and were allowed to take the exams, in fact i think one guy got 27% in instruments in his school final!!

Oaa accomodation is expensive and crap, get a shared house.

Indeed Annita.

OAT Integrated minimum 75%, EPST guys-girls, 85%. They canīt stop you sitting an exam as far as Iīm aware if your modular. For test I and II you can score below minimum marks. For School finals depends on your overall results and history. No-one scored below 75% in my class.

Donīt go internal. Get a shared flat/house somewhere in Kidlington.

In theory the FTO can reuse to countersign the exam application for. Whether they do I dont know.

They never did with me but then I never failed any test.
