Hi

Craig left about 18 months ago and now works at Halfpenny Green. Good Instructor worth going to talk to. Ravenair have had lots of instructor changes in the past 12 months so may not be as good as it used to be.

I do mean Craig Padfield, he left Ravenair mid 2007 and went to work at Halfpenny Green, Wolverhampton.

Go to JD Aviation, I did my CPL there having done IR elsewhere, I had a good experience at both... JD is well run and the experience of flying from Manchester is excellent.. He is not there to be your mate or make small talk but will get you through it to a very good standard I will add... Ravenair, I dont know of anyone that has done the CPL/IR there

My experience of Ravenair at Barton and Liverpool, is:

Instructors: experienced, knowledgeable and friendly

Planes: Old but do the job

Organisation: pretty abysmal, don't plan on getting anything done quickly.

Not sure I would go for anything more than a PPL.
