CPL revalidation
Is CPL "revalidation" just a matter of form filling and a fee to the CAA? Had a look at LASORS but it's a bit confusing as to if i need some kind of check flight.

Your question is, technically, unanswerable - what *exactly* do you believe you need to do?
Dates, ratings, ....what?
PM if you prefer not to put it all on show.

Well my JAR-CPL(A) says "Validity: Licence to be re-issued no later than 05/01/2009." So do they just send out a new one or what must i do to continue my CPL's validity? I have a valid SEP and Class 1 Medical but an Instrument Rating expired four months ago and a MEP expired 2 years ago.

"OK, TC" (to quote Benny from Top Cat cartoons).
From the *slightly* extra info in your PM - I'm going to assume the CPL was issued by the UK authorities. If it isn't, then you highlight that your basic question is unanswerable.
Your class rating (SEP) is academic but the Medical will be very useful.
Print a copy of http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/SRG1102.pdf (only page one and two [double sided - save a tree], read page three and four on your monitor [save another]) and a copy of http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/FORSRG1187.pdf
Send them both to the address on the form with a payment of GB £126 and they will send you a complete new licence.
Hope it helps.
