Time for some inspiration

Hi there,
It would be nice if current airline pilots who are employed by an airline could come on this thread and post 'thier story' of how they became an airline pilot. If you are a current airline pilot and would like to post your story please can you include the following details, as I believe they will be benificial to all:

1. Where did you train and how was the quality of training you recieved?
2. Did you do a integrated or modular course?
3. How much did all of your flight training cost?
4. How did you manage to aquire the neccessary funds. Did you get a loan from the bank or did you work?
5. What was the most easiest and hardest part of your training?
6. What was involved in the skills assesment? And do you have any tips on how to prepare for it?
7. How long did it take you to gain employment with an airline?
8. What was involved in the airline interview? And do you have any tips on how to succeed in airline type interviews?
9. What was your initial starting salary? (you dont need to tell me exact figures)
10. What is your current salary (again, you dont need to tell me exact figures)
11. What would be the advice or pearls of wisdom you would give to a wannabe?
12. You are now an airline pilot. Was it all worth it?

I know I have probably asked too many questions but to whomever replies I am forever gratefull. Thankyou very much too all who have replied, you have done a great deed.

Thanks,
Afraz
