What exactly does a Licensing Proficiency Check involve?

Hello Folks

In order to convert my old CAA BCPL into a JAA CPL(R) I need to do 5 hours instruction in a complex followed by a 'Licensing Proficiency Check.'

I know this is effectively some sort of GFT without any nav but can anyone point me to a CAA/JAA document that stipulates exactly what it involves. I have searched Lasors but there does not seem to be a definition.

Cheers, Guy
