JAA PPL in France

I have a JAA PPl that was issued in South Africa. Im now in France and as my licence will expire next year I need to renew it here as I will be going back to ICAO land in two months time. What is required to renew a JAA PPl here in France? I know this is a hard question to narrow down but what is considered a reasonable amount for hire of a PA28 or C152?

Ta.

My advice would be to contact the DGAC

Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile

And ask them how to proceed with it .
