Exam Location

I've tried searching around google (as i'm not sure were else to look) for a place to sit my ppl exams as I am going to be teaching myself. Does anyone know were I can sit my exams in the North-West, I know that most people take their exams at the location were they are learning to fly, but i'm planning to do that in Florida and sit my exams before I head over there.

Thanks

Any flying school near you should be able to do it. Give them a ring, explain your situation and ask if you can sit the written exams with them. Some may say no; not because they "can't" but because, perhaps, they don't want to. Some may charge; some may not. But it's not an uncommon scenario.

If you find a school amenable to the arrangement, then you can sit the exams as and when you're ready.

Cheers
