I heard that if you had laser eye surgery you wont pass the JAR Class I medical certificate...is this correct?

I think i read somewhere is that you can pass it if it was done over a year or 18 months ago, but not sure but thats my 2 pennys worth

this isnt the medical thread,,, but i agree, if you had it done ages ago, you migh, but it depends on what the measurement was before the surgery was done...

go to

www.caa.co.uk

then to medical/safety

them class 1/class 2 medicals

click on class 1 visual standards

or type into google.

CAA class 1 medical stantards
