Modular Flight Training & The Open University

I understand that some people manage to work alongside their training (?), do you think it’s possible to do the same whilst studying a course at the Open University? I'm currently considering commencing flight training but at the same time starting an OU Degree in Geosciences. Alternatively I could complete training to FI standard and start a degree afterwards whilst working part time as a FI, as a result keeping my license up to date.

Any thoughts on this route and more specifically the Open University, I've struggled to find much on the subject.
Thanks AJ

i did my training whilst studying towards a degree in Air Transport Management. The workload can build up but as long as your dedicated and put the time into both aspects of your life you can do it!!
