CPLA to CPLH - Fixed wing to Rotary

Does anyone know if any fixed wing hours carry forward towards a PPLH? Thinking provisionally about doing a PPLH and then converting it to CPLH and wondering if any of my Fixed wing hours could carry across.

Any Ideas?

LASORS is your friend!!! If you have a PPL(A), then 10% of your hours, up to a maximum of 6 hours, can be credited towards your PPL(H). However, there would only be (H) Principles of Flight exam to sit.

Ultimately, getting a fixed rating is not a cost-efficient way of getting the rotary qualifications except, maybe, the IR!

Cheers
