Not sure how cheap you are looking for but the largest schools in the area are:

Aviaiton Atlanta at PDK (www.aviationatlanta.com)
ATP at FTY (www.allatps.com) (US citizens only)
Falcon Acadamy with 5 locations in the area (www.www.falconaviationacademy.com)

There area also a variety of other flight schools at PDK see the relevent sections here: PDK - DeKalb Peachtree Airport

Best of luck

I did my PPL, IR and Multi at "The Flight School", see link below

The Flight School of Gwinnett

They are based at Lawrencville Airport, not far from PDK (the above links).

friendly staff, good instructors, cheap rates.

The price I paid will be irrelevant to you, cos it was over 10 years ago!!!!

You are better off checking their website, or talking to them for current prices. They are very upfront about their prices.

Like most things in life, preparation is the key. So if you study ahead, it makes your life easier, and it increases the probability that you will complete the course in the minimum possible time.

Good luck.
