Pilot Training College of Ireland ??!!

They're in Waterford, Ireland.

Anyone ever heard of them, know anything about them? I'm about to do a FAA/JAA distance learning conversion with them.
Heard there are a few American Eagle guys doing the same.

Any feedback/info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
ACT700

Conversions suck!!!

Hi

I rang them last week regarding IR training and no one ended up ringing me back.

Checked out the website and thought they were expensive

Without starting another thread about PTC costing a fortune and so on and so forth, i've heard good reviews about the FAA/JAA conversion from people. Thats not to say PTC dont have problems.

PTC

All i can tell you is that they are good if you stay on track, failing checks at any time or taking more than the required time for a licence will result in meetings, remedial training and in some cases being asked to leave. Latest rumour i heard about them was that the contract with flight safety in vero beach, FL fell through and are now in process of teaming up with a school in Melbourne, Australia.

Any of the professional schools will require extra training if you are crap.

Any of the professional courses will "chop you" if you are clearly not good enough.

Talk of going to Australia - absolute bo****ks.

(First hand knowledge - not rumour).

Don't need another thread on PTC. There's currently another on this same page.

And, NO, unfortuantely I am not connected with PTC in any way - before you start squealing that line, too.
