Not as PiC, or as dual, or as PiCUS, or anything else that makes it count towards your total flight time for the purpose of getting a higher licence or rating. As I found out, when I applied for my ATPL and tried to count the sim time towards my 500 multi crew requirement.

It goes in the simulated instrument time column on the right side of the logbook and that's it, all the other columns on the left hand side of the page (the ones that record flight time) have to stay blank.

Sim time lives in the sim column, not flight hours.

However, you can use 100 hours sim time towards the 1500 hours for ATPL issue BUT it doesn't count as part of the 500 hours multi-crew time.



Added: Of that 100 hours simulated, only 25 can be counted from FNPT's.
