CPL hour Logging to CPL course P1 P2 P U/T
Hi,
Not absolutely sure what can be logged as hours that count towards a CPL. Can hours that are "Dual" but not logged as P1 be logged as P2 in a SEP (not flying as Capt.) ie if operating the radio's etc or is this simply a helpful passenger in the eyes of the CAA. If this is the case then there is no such thing as p2 in a SEP as I see it.
.......meaning the only hours that can be counted for a CPL course is P u/t and P1. (and of course P1/s)
Think I have made this rather confusing .Hope someone understands..

Unless you're an instructor, only one person can log PIC and this should be agreed beforehand. Flying with a mate and operating the radio etc does not count as anything at all unless it's an aircraft certified for two pilot operation and you have MCC. I don't think this is what you're asking.

if it is a single pilot operation aircraft you cant log it.
if the aircraft has been signed out on someone elses licence you cant log it.
unless your an instructor in the aircraft giving instruction, you cant log it. if you are instructing then your PIC.
