Pilot training in the US or Canada?
Hi,
Can anybody give me some advice, I am on the search for a good and professional Flightschool in the US or Canada with an ATPL course in JAA!?
Any advice would be very helpfull and much apprechiated!

Well, there's only Moncton Flight College in Canada, although I did hear that Harvsair in Manitoba might have a tie-in somewhere

Roy, you need to look more closely at your choice of flight school. In general, you get what you pay for in aviation. Non-specific assurances that a US FTO has links with a JAA FTO should not be relied on, for you US$60,000 you should get more certainty before you recommend a potential choice to others. Suggest OAA, FTE and CTC as good starting points. If you want to do a JAA PPL in the states try OBA, and search here for pros and cons first. I can't think of any US FTO I would recommend for a complete JAA CPL/ATPL course, all of them need a UK/EU partner anyway for the IR.
