A random question - Watches

Greetings all,

Well, after many years of good service my watch has finally decided to shuffle off its mortal coil. So its time to go shopping for a new one. Since I am currently in the midst of my training I was toying with the idea of getting something that will perhaps be useful in or involving aviation.

I'm not after something overly expensive or overloaded with gadgetry, just something practical that doesn't look like a $2.00 petrol station watch and has a bit of character. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Cheers

GBird

Your aeroplanes will have perfectly good timekeeping devices. I suggest basing your decision on other considerations.
