Tayflite-Air Charter Scotland

Hi all,

I have been made aware that Tayflite (Training/Engineering) have been taken over by Air Charter Scotland.

Anyone done Cpl/IR training here recently?
Would welcome your coments!

I had a few problems trying to get my IR revalidated with them back in April but i'll blame the mucking around with the takeover. They are certainly back up and running again now with both CPL and IR. Both the arrow and seneca seem to be doing plenty flying again. I dd my initial IR with them and was more than happy with the course. Good aircraft and the instructor was a good guy too.

Depends upon who the instructors and admin staff are! I did my Initial IR with them earlier this year and cannot recommend them. If a certain person is still running the office expect some problems. Myself and a few others were let down on many occasions. They lost two great instructors to Gamma, and were then left with one bloke who was certainly an aquired taste.

Good luck to you! Why not try Tayside instead?

Yep, my Instructor is very much Gamma's gain and Tayflite's loss. Spoke to them other day and the two of them seem to be liking their new jobs.

Tayside have good set up, not cheap though.
