Hours building from Shoreham - Share anyone?
Hi all,
Im off to start my ATPL ground school at bournemouth in july and am going to start hour building out of shoreham from now and at weekends during the course. Anyone out there wanting to do the same? If so and your interested in sharing to keep cost down (we can both log the P1 hours as i understand!) let me know!
Thanks.

I think you better check the rules and regs again about who can log P1. Only one person can log P1 for the purpose of a JAA license. I recommend downloading and reading the relevant sections of Lasors: http://www.caa.co.uk/application.asp...detail&id=1591

Second that....
Only one Pilot (PIC) can log P1 hours in a SEP aircraft. The other pilot can log SFA!!
Saying that i'm in the same boat, half way through my ATPL's and hour building with a friend of mine. Flying with another pilot (I find) gives you more confidence to go places you probably wouldn't on your own as a new pilot. Bigger airfields, small farm strips etc.
Besides flying alone can get lonely!
