Uk/Ireland Conversions

With an Australian Licence what the steps with converting that to fly out of Dublin Ireland?

Not sure myself. You would be best to ring the CAA or ireland's equiv. Both are JAA states so I would imagine they being the same. You could also look at LASORS.

Flying Privately or Looking for Commercial Licence?

If Commercial need convert to JAA.
Approved Ground school, pass the 14 ATPL exams, CPL Flying and Test, Instrument Rating Flying and Test, MCC. Done
Can do most of the above in Australia before you leave, cheaper too.

In the UK you can fly Privately on your Australian Licence.
