MEP license issue

What is the time limit from passing the MEP skills test to applying for the license and license issue? I have been holding off til I get the CPL and applying all together. Is it six or 12 months? I have searched LASORS online and can't find it anywhere. I believe the IR is 12months but I can not find the MEP info anywhere?

The skills test must be completed within the 6 months preceeding the date of reciept of application for the rating. Lasors section f, page 15 refers.
Its in the paragraph above "credit against training for QSP's"

Nope but I can tell you what the CAA bloke told me when I handed in my forms yesterday: six months.

So dig in yer pocket for those £72 and send it all off before it's too late
