ATPL - Best Value School ?
Could anyone who has been through the process of searching through the various schools teaching ATPL courses offer advice to a complete rooky?
Cabair seems to have the best reputation but I will be £60k lighter at the end of the course (which will all come from a loan).
Oxford were not much cheaper, but Bournemouth was significantly cheaper. Does it pay to take up a course with someone like cabair, or is it even worth studying in the states. Speaking of America what are the pitfalls of studying over there, will it be frowned upon back in the Uk even after a conversion course?
Some solid and frank advice will be very much welcomed.
Thanks

ATPL School
Hi Groundpilot.
I have recently returned from Maroochydore where I completed 4 of the subjects in a course over there.
The school is Advanced Flight Theory (AFT for short). The teacher is a guy named Nathan Higgins, who is brilliant.
I cannot recomment them highly enough. Go to www.aft.com.au
It is hard work so be prepared to put your head down for 6 weeks. It is not a time to go over there and socialise, it is hard study, but the results will be there if you are prepared to do this.
May not be the cheapest course around, but it came highly recommended to me and they were spot on.
Good luck.
