Do I need to do Perf A

Is anyone else in the same boat or no the answer.

I passed my ATPL theroy exams with the CAA, over 8 years ago and subsequently upgraded to a CPL JAA, kept everything current but no multi crew time so no ATPL.

I took the ATPL theroy exams with perf E as it was then.

I am now in a posiion to look for a job with a perf A/B aircraft.

The question is do I need to take Perf A/B specific exams or is this given when you do the type rating for a type A/B aircraft ?

Many Thanks.

For a multi crew type rating (any JAR 25 aircraft) you will need to sit the JAA performance Exam.
