ATP - Prerequisites?

Guys,

I was looking at ATP's website and got somewhat confused when reading the prerequisites for their Airline Career Pilot Program? (as seen here).

For the Airline Career Pilot Program with Private Pilot Addition

Ability to Fly a PC-Based Flight Simulator
FAA First Class Medical Certificate
2 Years of College or Equivalent Work Experience

These prerequisites must be met prior to the class start date, if not prior to scheduling.

For the Airline Career Pilot Program

Private Pilot Certificate
85 Hours Total Time
25 Hours Cross-Country PIC Time
First Class Medical Certificate
2 Years of College or Equivalent Work Experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen

These prerequisites must be met prior to the class start date, if not prior to scheduling.

Their 60 Day Fast Track Private Pilot Certificate looks like good value for money and high quality training. But you can only carry out the FAA PPL with them if you're also doing the 90 Day Fast Track Airline Career Pilot Program with them.

Seems pretty good going 60 days + 90 days = FAA CFI ready for employment with ATP.

What confuses me is why they don't state you need to be a 'U.S. Citizen' for the 'For the Airline Career Pilot Program with Private Pilot Addition'?

Would I be able to apply for this being British?

Many thanks.

After requesting information this is what I got;

ATP provides flight training only to citizens of the United States of America. We do not participate in any student visa programs, and we do not facilitate the TSA-required background checks.

We regret that we are unable to assist you, and wish you success in achieving your career objectives.

.... Shame.
