First Solo

Hi Guys.
Just to let you know i did my first solo today and it was great. One more step towards my dream.

Very true

You can fail your PPL test, your CPL, your IR test... but you MUST not fail your first solo

Congratulations. The thing I miss most now that I no longer instruct is the sending of first solos and seeing the big fat grin that attaches to your students face.

The CFI, when I went solo, put considerable emphasis on the fact that no matter how far you take your flying, regardless of how many types you fly, how many ratings your get, you will only ever have one 'First Solo Flight in the Circuit' entry in your logbook, and to be proud of it!
