Hey all,
I live in the North West of the UK. Just wondering if anyone could recommend any good flight schools for the PPL.
Also i was considering doing it out in Florida could you also recommend any flight schools?
If you was me what would you guys do?
Cheers

Threre are plenty of flight school reviews on the site.

Its hard to recommend, are you planning on going commerical? if so, you're probably better going and getting an FAA PPL in Florida as that is all you will need to start your ATPL's.

If your wanting to get a JAA PPL, I don't think there are any good JAA schools in the USA from the types of reviews they get on here, Naples Air Center did have a good reputition, dont know if it still does now. Also Europe American Aviation in Naples has a good reputition, they have new planes but only do FAA training.

Do you really mean the North West of the UK, or the North West of England?

Philpaz it was only a month ago you were asking the same question about Flight Academy Blackpool, if this outfit is Comed reincarnated then I would be asking myself some questions before recommending them

Q's to ask:

Are they comed planes
Are they comed management

If yes google G-BBBK and make up your own mind

when you have the answers, consider (visit) others in the NW or Blackpool and re-evaluate if the answer is still Flt Acad BPL then fine. Westair are well run as are a number of other outfits at Liverpool
