Nearest Airfield To Me

Hi,
I need to find the nearest airfield to me with a school to do my PPL. I don't want it to be just any old school, but maybe something that you can recommend or you have heard something good about. I am south west london (on the A3 near New Malden)

Thanks

Nick

Try downloading Google Earth (http://earth.google.com/)

Type in your post code then zoom out and see which airports turn up on the map - you may need to enable the display airports on the left hand side (under Transport list).

Fairoaks?

How about Fairoaks?

Just off J10, M25.

I'd definitely recommend them . Just completed my PPL.

Good atmosphere and nice friendly bunch.

Try Blackbushe, along the A30 near Camberley. Maybe a bit further out of London but there are several schools there.
