Afternoon Airmen,

I am considering finishing my PPL at UKFT in California.

Does anyone have any experience of this course, and could they share it with me and the rest of the avation world.

Many thanks,

NSN

UKFT

There is quite a bit of info on the web about them. I can't remember exactly where but a simple google will reveal loads.
I have spent a vast amount of time looking into operations in the USA and lets just say these guys were very quickly eliminated from the list. Stories of owners not taking en interest and much more. My 5c worth is, if in doubt, avoid. Big sums of money+Bad Reputation =

Hello newstudentneil,
there's quite a lot of info on PPrune if you use the search functions.
I am also looking at flight training in California and tripped over a couple
threads about UKFT.

Just 2 of them:

As someone who is looking to start flight training I have looked at UKFT too, however I have also heard nothing but bad storys about them. I always try find two sides to any opinion and can't seem to find any positive reviews of their training or facilities, the above threads just about sum them up.

My advice is remain well clear of UKFT....I worked there and know how they treat students....your better off spending a little extra in your training and remaining well clear of small flight schools that promise fast and cheap training.....
