CPL: JAA, FAA or Canadian?

Hi Folks,

I'm currently contemplating starting CPL/IR training with the express goal of becoming an instructor (weird I know!) and I'm looking for advice about which nation's one to take up.

The reason for this is that I am a UK citizen living in the US (for about the next 2 years for definate, then depends on the missus after that) and I'm wondering if I should just go to my local flying school do everything there, or make an effort to travel to the well known establishments in Florida for the JAA courses or even pop across the northern border? Does it even matter? Is the conversion process between the three relatively inexpensive in terms of
time and money?

Any advise is welcome,

Gareth.
