ATPL Certificate?

Hi there, im midway through my ATPL studies, and (in a quiet moment) was just wondering what you get from the good old CAA when you finish all 14 exams? (apart from a hangover) do the CAA give you a sheet with your passes on it? if so does it show your attempts etc, or is it all just held on record?. Im thinking, ok, I show up at flight school 'X' to do my CPL when I have finished, do you get something to show them if they ask? I bet for all that money you get a poxy printout lol.
just curious!!
Many thanks, and a happy, prosperous, and safe new year to you all.
