Advice regarding ATPL and type rating?

Hi all,
Iam planning on starting flight training next year now the funds are available, currently only have 10 hours PPL gained when i was 16.I just want a challenge really.

The goal is to work up to the ATPL and then go for a type rating on either the 737 or 757.
Iam currently in a comfortable employment position and at 24 yrs old,it seems like the ideal time to go for it.

I hope these questions are not too tedious but your experience would be appreciated.

Would UK training be beneficial to the emloyer,if i went stateside would it be unnatractive and what are the pros and cons if training abroad?

How many years would it realistically take to become sufficiently qualified from zero hours to ATPL frozen and then train on the 757?

If i were to apply to a company like JET2 who are based a couple of miles away would you recommend obtaining a type rating first,or use their training facility?

Would you have any other pointers to head me in the rigt direction?

Many thanks
