B737 CAT II low visibility approval

How do I get the CAT II low visibility approval for the B737. Do I need to apply for it at the CAA or do I just receive a certificate from a TRTO?

You need to work for an operator (airline or otherwise) who has approval. Then you go through their training system in the sim and on the line, and the operator then signs you off for CAT II stuff. This approval does not carry over if you change jobs (although if you have been signed off for CAT II before it usually helps on your CV).
