Does revalidating your MEP validate your SEP?

Hey. I am looking for some help. I recently revalidated my MEP but have just realised my SEP ran out last week.

I was advised that it may be that the SEP would be revalidated at the same time as the MEP? COuld someone confirm this?

Cheers.

No, you have revalidate you SEP separately. As it has now expired, you will have to do a test.

Cheers.

Seems a funny question to ask.

If your SEP has now expired, you need to do a LST on SEP.

You will need to renew your SEP Class Rating by flying a LST.

Next time, your MEP revalidation will count in lieu of the 'training flight' requirement to revalidate a SEP Class Rating by experience provided that it is within the last 12 months of your SEP Class Rating validity period.
