Jetstream

While looking through various ads for planes I have come accross a number of Jetstreams for sale at what seems to me a low price. Can anyone tell me about operating these aircraft and the qualifications a pilot would need to fly one. Does anyone have any experience of operating one and advice on the pitfalls of ownership.

When the manufacturer of an aircraft uses some other brand of aircraft (Kingair!) to do the same job you know there is something wrong!

I belive they have lots of expensive requirments, x-rays, corrosion etc.
