sponsored airline training
Hey,
I'm new to the forum.
I'm a Sri Lankan national and I've been wanting to get into flying for a long time. I hope to be an airline pilot , but sadly I'm held up due to finances. Even my jo doesn't let me earn enough to support me and my flight training.
I've heard that there are cadet programs out there where airlines sponsor trainees who then work under a bond or something.
Can anyone suggest a good place for me.

Welcome to the forum. Expect some turbulance while you settle in.
Airlines don't sponsor trainees anymore rather it's the trainees that pay for themselves and if they meet the required standard they get hired. These are known as mentored schemes. The TR is normally paid for by the airline but the cadet usually has his salary reduced for a number if years (5 years in my case with tfly).
Mentored schemes are usually advertised here:
FTE
OAT
Cabair
